The county Department of Parks and Recreation announces that Spencer Beach Park in North Kohala will reopen at 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.
The beach park was closed earlier this month to protect individuals from swarming bees after a large keawe tree collapsed in the park.
The department apologizes for any inconvenience the closure might have caused and thanks the public for its patience and understanding throughout this temporary closure.
